Welcome to the Cascadia Metro Vancouver, BC Branch!
Vancouver, British Columbia
Established in Spring 2001, the Vancouver Branch of the Cascadia Chapter gives current and future members a place to network and learn about green building in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Mission Statement:
Restoring our planet by effecting change in our behaviour through the built environment.

Check back often for event information, updates, and links to register.
2012 VLUGs and LBUGs have been suspended pending 2012 focus groups.
In the past, groups like the CaGBC, USGBC, Cascadia, and others have simply sent out surveys to ask the building industry what kind of sustainability education they require, to what extent they value LEED, quires on where there are pitfalls, etc. This year out Steering Committee has committed to visiting firms and talking to building professionals (and the like) directly about their priorities and thoughts on greening the build environment. We'll use this information to move forward as a group that truly represents the region's priorities.
Stay posted for our findings, and our new programs coming in 2013!
Not able to attend an event? Check for presentation slides here.
Volunteers Needed
We are always looking for volunteers. If you want to get connected with the green building community in the Vancouver area, please, please see our Volunteer page and email our volunteer committee and they will get you connected.
