Portland Branch Call for Volunteers
March 2010
Engaging Volunteer Opportunities
The Portland Branch is looking for dedicated, passionate people who want to play a volunteer role to help support the green building movement and to enable the build environment to achieve sustainability - socially, economically and environmentally. Contribute, get to know other dedicated practitioners and have fun while learning more about out local community through one of these Portland Branch committees:
Tours
Tours happen quarterly and focus on cutting-edge design, green building technologies and innovation in the built environment.
This committee is looking for 2-3 people who want to help with organizing tours. Tasks include selecting and developing
tour ideas, contacting tour guides and sponsors and organizing the tour event/graphics etc.
Branch Meetings - Quarterly
These quarterly meetings are an opportunity to bring the branch members together for networking, engaged learning, creative innovation and to have fun celebrating Cascadia. If you have an interest in helping to bring people together for interactive fun and learning please consider joining this team dedicated to hearing and responding to members interests and needs.
Membership
Members are key to a successful branch and organization. This new committee works closely with the portland Cascadia staff to clarify and expand member benefits, enroll and renew members and identify member needs.
To sign up for a committee or find out more specifics on any of the opportunities above please contact Patsy Feeman at patsyfeeman{at}comcast[dot]net or by phone at 503-803-0374.
