Green Building and the Building Code
Green buildings and how they relate to building codes and regulations has become a major focus in the design and construction industry as innovative systems and standards continue to push the envelope on sustainability. This training addresses the need for education and awareness in the commercial realm around green building and the building codes in both the public and private sectors. Together, these two groups can effectively identify code conflicts and develop solutions for overcoming obstacles to sustainable development within the context of safeguarding public health and welfare.
These trainings will only be held in Oregon in 2009!
