Calling all Emerging Green Builders
The Oregon EGB is has openings for the following two leadership positions. To be eligible for either position, one must be a EGB member in good standing (i.e. yearly membership is paid and up-to-date).

Oregon State Chair of the Emerging Green Builders
Chair Responsibilities
(a) Be available to support efforts of Student and Satellite groups in their area for what is considered a reasonable amount of time by a majority vote of this committee, and respond promptly to inquires from EGB members in their region.
(b) Sit as EGB representative on their local Cascadia Branch Steering Committee.
(c) Attend majority of Cascadia EGB Leaders meetings and gatherings annually. (Several times a year)
(d) Initiate, plan and carry out programming in collaboration with Cascadia Chapter Branch if applicable.
(e) Keep Regional Chair informed of EGB Branch events and Initiatives.
(d) If you miss more than 3 consecutive EGB regularly scheduled meeting, a replacement will be found.
Please Submit the following by May 25th to jenny(at)cascadiagbc.org:
A) A brief profile that can be posted on the website that includes information about your related experience and what qualifies you to be chair.
B) A small picture of you so that members can recognize you from events you attended
C) A copy of your drivers license. To be eligible to hold a leadership position within EGB you must be 29 or younger.
D) Be available and prepared to make a 2 minute speech at the Emerging Green Builders meeting on June 2nd.
Information on eligible candidates will be posted online on May 25th. You must be present on June 2nd to vote. One vote per EGB member. Winners will be announced on June 3rd via email.

Communications Chair of the Emerging Green Builders
Chair responsibilities
(a) Be available to support efforts of Student and Satellite groups in their area for what is considered a reasonable amount of time by a majority vote of this committee, and respond promptly to inquires from EGB members in their region.
(b) Be available to upload and update items to the Cascadia EGB website frequently.
(c) Attend majority of Cascadia EGB Leaders meetings and gatherings annually. (Several times a year)
(d) Initiate, plan and carry out communications in collaboration with Cascadia Chapter Branch if applicable.
(e) Keep State Chair informed of EGB communication events and possible web ideas and initiatives.
(d) If you miss more than 3 consecutive EGB regularly scheduled meeting, a replacement will be found.
