Tour of a Zero-Energy House in Shoreline.

At Noon on April 16, the North Sound LEED User Group will meet at the Zero Energy House (ZEH) at 16101 Greenwood Avenue North in Shoreline for a one-hour tour of the facility.  Several zero energy homes are in the planning stages in the Puget Sound area.  This ZEH opened in the Spring 2007 and is operated by Washington State University.  Construction Manager Brian Mast will lead a tour and answer questions.  Features include advanced energy-efficient features, salvaged and recycled construction products.  Those interested in carpooling will leave promptly from the Everett PUD south parking lot entrance at 11:30 am and return to the PUD Everett by 1:30.
