This special event highlights the innovative projects that are setting the bar for sustainability in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler, BC -- demonstrating  Northwest leadership in sustainable cities, technologies and development.
Join us for an in-depth look at three very exciting projects and the opportunity to talk with the people who are making them happen. Local leaders and others involved in the British Columbia projects will enrich the discussion in the workshop sessions.

      Sustainable Design and Technology:    Presenters discuss in greater detail the technologies and design elements that are planned into their projects.  Additional team members from the SE False Creek Olympic Village may participate in discussing that project.  Mayor Melamed,  Jody Andrews, Greg Scott & Marion LaRue, Principal, Cannon Design. Eco-municipalities/Sustainable Communities: Large scale community planning processes:  how to effectively engage a multi-stakeholder community in a sustainability planning process and make it work!  The Whistler 2020 story; SE False Creek Development; Richmond skating oval.
