Wayne Roberts PhD, Project Coordinator, Toronto Food Policy Council

Sustainable Cities, Food and Neighborhoods: Do They Relate?Wayne Roberts thinks he has found the secret way to a city’s heart: its stomach. Using his regional experience with Toronto’s Food Policy Council and his international overview gained from writing The No Nonsense Guide to World Food, Wayne will show how food policies can bridge neighborhoods, city governments and community-based campaigns to become sustainable — sustainable, as in good jobs, clean environment, robust communities, vibrant health and sound city finances.
