On Sunday, guests will tour a "green" resource centre as well as three (3) different homes. Guests will be served a light lunch and will be guided through an exploration of the latest eco friendly or "green" resources that will help them find some of the solutions they need to make their buildings, houses, communities and lives more sustainable. Following this exploration, guests will be shuttled to Smallworks, a design/build company specializing in small homes, backyard studios, and lane-way housing where they will tour through the shop and one of their prefabricated homes. Next, guests will explore two more single-detached homes: the Jang Residence, a new heritage-style R-2000 house built to fit into its established neighbourhood and the Hanvey-Goodland Residence, a single-detached house that was renovated with consideration for environmental sustainability best practices and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Healthy Housing™ principles. The tour will conclude at Lighthouse Sustainable Building Centre.
