The session will be useful to building design professionals and consultants, developers, owners, facility managers, project managers, construction managers, among others. This session will provide participants with an understanding of:

• what IDP is and how it differs from the traditional design processes;
• how to use and modify scope of work, project schedule and project budget examples to support effective IDP within limited and fixed fees;
• the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and the role participants need to play in an IDP process to maintain integration and support optimization throughout the design decision making process;
• the tools and strategies to improve “self-facilitation”, active listening, respectful dialogue and decision making
• many of the strategies discussed in the “Roadmap to the Integrated Design Process”. Participants will receive a complementary copy of this illustrated 95 page guide.
