The session will be useful to building design professionals and consultants, developers, owners, facility managers, project managers, construction managers, others involved in the building industry.  The session will provide participants with an understanding of:
·         what IDP is and how it differs from the traditional design processes;
·         how to use and modify scope of work, project schedule and project budget examples to support effective IDP within limited and fixed fees;
·         the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and the role participants need to play in an IDP process to maintain integration and support optimization throughout the design decision making process;
·         the tools and strategies to improve “self-facilitation”, active listening, respectful dialogue and decision making
·         many of the strategies discussed in the “Roadmap to the Integrated Design Process”  (participants will receive a complementary copy of this illustrated 95 page guide.)
