LEED-ND: LEED for Neighbourhood Developments builds upon the success of LEED by applying the principles of smart growth, new urbanism, and green building practices to the neighbourhood scale. Elisa Campbell, LEED® AP, Director, Design Centre for Sustainability at UBC will speak about a design charrette facilitated for the Westhills Development in the City of Langford — a greenfield development selected by the CaGBC to pilot LEED-ND in a Canadian context. T AIBC credits: 1 core learning unit.
Cost: $10 Cascadia members, Emerging Green Builders, students in advance (online registration);
$15 CaGBC or USGBC members
$25 Non-members: all costs are $5 more at the door ($5 less if registered online). A light lunch will be served at this event.
