This month’s topic is: ASHRAE 90.1 updated Appendix G modeling guidelines - Michael Rosenberg - Oregon Department of Energy

A brief overview of ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G, Building Performance Rating Method. Appendix G provides modeling rules for rating buildings that are designed to be "better than code" and is required by LEED and the Federal energy tax incentive programs for rating building energy efficiency. The session will concentrate on the many changes made to the methodology since the 2004 version was published, and will be a preview of what to expect in the upcoming 2007 version.
