Summary
This introductory training course on green wall infrastructure design presents an overview of the many tools and techniques needed to satisfy your green wall project objectives. The course will focus on:

* Identifying the costs and benefits of green walls to reach your green wall performance goals;
* Identifying a variety of green wall products and understanding the performance criteria of different green wall elements, and their relevance to your design intent;
* Introducing the major design principles of a successful green wall project and discussing causes for error, which might lead to an unsuccessful green wall project.

What You Will Learn:
This course provides information that you can put to work immediately, including details and exercises on how to:

* Determine major functions and components of a green wall;
* Describe characteristics and assess various advantages of different green wall systems available in the marketplace;
* Utilize an integrated design process in your project for maximum benefit;
* Evaluate the major market drivers encouraging green wall industry in North America;
* Obtain maximum points by integrating a green wall into the US Green Building Council LEEDâ„¢ Accreditation point system.

Please note: 

Those using AIA, RCI, or ASLA credits for application toward their local/regional association or for license renewal can acquire 7.5 education credits for participating in this course.

 Tuition
Tuition for this one-day course is $395 per person and includes course materials, lunch, and a one-year individual membership with Green Roofs for Healthy Cities - the green roof industry association for North America. If a cheque is mailed, it must be received in our office three days prior to the event.

 

Registrations may be cancelled by contacting Anna Sergeyeva, at 416-971-4494, ext. 228 up to THREE DAYS prior to the event, and will incur a $50 cancellation fee. We regret that we cannot cancel a registration after that point.
