The Pharos Project seeks to transform the building materials industry by offering a framework for holistic evaluation of products from the social, health, and environmental perspectives. The result is the Pharos Lens: an at-a-glance label that reveals the overall environmental profile of a product, allowing meaningful comparison of one material to another. In this session you’ll receive an overview of how Pharos works, the operating principles, the performance metrics on which products are evaluated, and an update on where the project currently stands in development.
