Vancouver LEED Users Group Monthly Meeting
Topic: LEED® for Homes: How LEED for Homes will be applied in Canada. Canadian projects that are participating in the USGBC’s LEED for Homes pilot. Adoption of LEED for Homes by the CaGBC.
Jamie McKay of Morrison Hershfield will present on these and related issues.
Jamie McKay, is a professional engineer active within the Canada Green Building Council. As an envelope consultant Jamie has presented in the past on the durable building credit under LEED®, and even teaches green roof courses at BCIT’s Green Roof Research Facility.
As part of the CaGBC’s LEED for Homes national committee Jamie will share the latest updates on the work of the group.
Purpose: To share information and experiences with other design professionals on how specific LEED® credits are addressed in real-world projects.
