Grand Opening! North America's first sustainable LEED Neighbourhood!

Join us on a journey to build a sustainable & vibrant community. On Saturday, October 13th, under a series of white tent canopies, will be a market that has been thoughtfully put together with a community building and healthy living theme to it. The new Westhills Community Planning Center, located at 957 Langford Parkway, will open its doors to a public that has been waiting to hear more about the new development. The Planning Center has been created to introduce people to the concepts and plans guiding the project, to showcase green products for the home and to conduct seminars and community meetings aimed at designing a unique, responsible and very livable new community. Westhills is now doing detailed planning for the first neighborhood and plans to offer homes for sale in the summer of 2008. The market will feature local artisans, community groups, children’s play areas, food vendors and lots of music and entertainment. The market is open from 10am – 5pm with Grand Opening ceremonies starting at 11am. The Opening ceremonies will start with a blessing by Esquimalt First Nations followed by native dancing. The ribbon cutting will start at 12 noon.
