The Portland LEED User's Group (PLUG) meets on the second Thursday of every month from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, to discuss topics related to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System. Attendees of these meetings represent many disciplines within Portland's green building community, and new attendees are always is welcome.

December 11 - Jon Gray on Gray water
Jon Gray, CPD is a Principal and Senior Plumbing Designer. He leads Interface’s plumbing design division for the corporation. Since joining Interface Engineering in 1990, he has been responsible for the design of plumbing and mechanical systems, specializing in advocating water conservation and sustainable plumbing system design. Jon is a current Oregon State Plumbing Board member and is an active member in the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, American Society of Sanitary Engineers, and the International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials organizations. He was recently awarded the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s 2008 BetterBricks Award in the Engineering category for his contribution to creating high-performance, sustainable buildings in the Northwest.
