The process of integrated design is inherently iterative.   Performance modeling is the process of inquiring and then testing the key performance elements of an emergent design.   When actively incorporated into a design process, performance modeling becomes one of the communication elements that drives design iterations.  This presentation will present examples of performance modeling activities within the context of today's regional integrated design discussion.   The goal will be to establish an understanding of the generalized concept of performance modeling along with appropriate expectations for specific projects.

Please join the Eugene Branch of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council for this presentation on an evolution in the design process.  Our presenter will be Mike Hatten with Solarc Architecture and Engineering.

Please RSVP to eugene(at)cascadiagbc.org.

Also, if you are a member of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council, please be sure to bring your “Cascadia Passport” and receive a stamp for attendance to this event, leading to savings in future Cascadia workshops and conferences throughout the region.
