How
many times have you been frustrated at the thought of writing an appeal
or code interpretation to address a plan review comment? How much
easier would your life be if you knew the process well enough to write
successful appeals or interpretations within a few hours? Taught by
Samir Mokashi, Assoc. AIA, this class will detail steps needed to write
a good appeal or interpretation, as well as provide examples of
successful appeals and interpretations.
Samir will also
answer your project questions/situations in detail. In order to
qualify, please email a drawing or sketch of your project and the code
question along with your registration to Sarah McNay,
smcnay@aiaportland.org by May 25. In the interest of time, we will
select a limited number of projects. The selection will be based on the
time needed for the answer and the relevance of the question to the
seminar subject matter.
