Enhancing Communities through the Integration of Cleanup and Land Use Planning
The Washington Department of Ecology's Toxics Cleanup Program invites you to participate in the state's first-ever Brownfields Conference. Network and exchange ideas with over 350 professionals includ-ing: Ecology's top cleanup leaders, national academic experts, development professionals, and local government representatives as we explore how cleanup can foster economic vitality and sustainable land-use planning. Among other conference highlights, the University of Washington will present their study on the Washington brownfields program along with their recommendations for possible changes to the program. An interactive discussion will follow the presentation.
