LEED® for Existing Building and LEED® for Commercial Interiors: Processes, Procedures, & Dual Certification
Unique to Existing Building certification is the role of processes and procedures in the certification standards. How these processes were set-up in a multi-tenanted building and how they were tracked during the performance period will be presented by The Schuster Group LEED project team. Also discussed will be the process of dually certifying a building with Existing Building and Commercial Interior LEED standards.
The Schuster Group is a Seattle-based privately held, vertically integrated investment management and development firm that is known for its pioneering development concepts and sustainable building designs. For more information on the firm and it recents projects, click here.

Who are the Emerging Green Builders (EGB)?
The Emerging Green Builders is a USGBC program working to integrate students and young professionals into
the green building movement.
Who can be an emerging green builder?
Anyone interested in becoming more involved in green building from any discipline of study or practice is welcome to participate in EGB. Largely this group is comprised of students and young professionals, but EGB also incorporates seasoned professionals who are new to the green building industry. For the purposes of discounts and benefits, Emerging Green Builders is defined as any current college student or person within 5 years of graduation.
EGB groups around the country offer young people the opportunity to get involved in green building locally, gain
access to USGBC resources, and participate in local events.
