Learn from peers, share your experiences and grow your understanding of green building practice in British Columbia.
This month's topic is a case study of the Vancouver Convention Centre. Sustainable features of this 133,000 square foot facility include 2.4 hectares of living roof housing a variety of 400,000 indigenous plants, seawater heating and cooling, marine habitat built into the building foundation, grey and black water recycling systems, energy conservation strategies using natural lighting and ventilation.
This event also includes a Green Skyline Sneak Preview Tour of the Vancouver Convention Centre, to take place at 5:30pm on the same day. More details about the tour and the case study panel will be added shortly.
For more information, please contact the Metro Vancouver Branch at metrovancouver@cascadiagbc.org.
Please feel free to join us for a short 20 minute informal networking session before the event begins at noon.
