2009 is focused on renovating and revitalizing existing buildings, which is a key component towards local and national economic recovery plans and critical to reducing emissions.

This new USGBC workshop will help you gain the information, skills, and strategies necessary to improve building efficiency, reduce operating expenses, increase occupancy, and leverage financial incentives. Through an interactive and hands-on experience, you'll learn to effectively implement LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance.

Intended for building owners, operators and maintenance professionals, it will walk you through the phases of a typical project, using case examples and implementation strategies throughout to reinforce learning and encourage students to apply knowledge to real-life situations.

Prior Knowledge: Familiarity with both the LEED Rating System and LEED Reference Guide for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance a must. USGBC's LEED Credit Categories and Intents strongly recommended.
