The Portland LEED User's Group (PLUG) meets on the second Thursday of every month from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, to discuss topics related to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System.  Attendees of these meetings represent many disciplines within Portland's green building community, and new attendees are always is welcome.

Exploring two pathways for LEED-NC v3/2009 Energy & Atmosphere Credit 1:  ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 and NBI's Core Performance Guide.

  • Kate Turpin from SERA Architects to provide brief review of LEED-NC v3/2009 requirements for EAc1
  • Jim Edelson (contractor to NBI) to present an overview of the Core Performance Guide
  • Andrew Craig from Interface Engineering to present overview of ASHRAE 90.1-2007, and the changes from the 2004 version of the standard
