The Canada Green Building Council recently launched the LEED® Canada for Homes rating system. E3 Eco Group is helping to provide LEED® Canada for Homes Provider and Rater services to British Columbia and Alberta. Troy will discuss and answer questions about the new rating system.

Bio - For over ten years, Troy Glasner has been involved in sustainable construction. Starting by building a passive solar house in Ottawa, Ontario to working with cutting edge architects in the North East U.S to working with builders, developers and home owners in British Columbia on how make the right choices on building sustainably. Working as an instructor for the CHBA-BC Built Green program, and faculty for the CaGBC LEED® Canada for Homes program, Troy has seen the challenges facing home owners in coming up with ways on how to renovate in cost effective, and environmentally efficient ways. His experience has been to help these stake holders come up with and implement strategies that provide a comfortable healthy energy efficient home.

LOCATION
Light House: Sustainable Building Centre is located at 1575
Johnston Street, just East of the Public Market in the heart of
Granville Island. Our centre is on the second floor and accessible via
the glass door and staircase on the Southwest corner of the building.
This event is sponsored by Light House Sustainable Building Centre and
Cascadia Green Building Council, the local chapter of the CaGBC.
