This seminar will discuss complex interlinked problems related to optimization of the geothermal resource energy delivery and storage, selection of most efficient technology (or combination of technologies), geothermal energy distribution, intelligent control systems, interface with the backup and peaking system(s), system maintenance, standardization (in design and practice), quality control, regulations, economy and geothermal utility models. Several Canadian and international case studies will be presented and critically reviewed.
