Topic: Everything you want to know about LEED 2009
Nicole Isle, sustainability advisor at Brightworks, will be speaking on updates to LEED v3 and the new rating system LEED 2009. The discussion will cover GBCI and USGBC’s new roles and responsibilities for accreditation, the CIR process and project reviews. We’ll also cover the roll-out schedule for the various LEED products as well as detailed credit updates to the LEED NC rating system.
Presenter: Nicole Isle, Brightworks
Nicole Isle is a sustainability advisor at Brightworks, where she
specializes in integrated design strategies for single and multiple
building projects as well as for conceptual master planning programs.
In her LEED portfolio, Nicole has experience with the LEED for ND
program and has applied LEED NC and CI to a wide variety of building
types including multi-family residential, hospitality, higher
education, and municipal and office buildings.
The Portland LEED User's Group (PLUG) meets on the second Thursday of every month from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, to discuss topics related to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System. Attendees of these meetings represent many disciplines within Portland's green building community, and new attendees are always is welcome.
