This month's topic: water. Come find out how the following projects are hoping to achieve net zero water: Van Dusen, CIRS, and the Bateman Centre.
A little bit about our speakers...
CIRS- Jubal Wright, AScT, LEED®AP, Stantec
Jubal is a LEED Accredited design technologist with an Engineering design Diploma, and Business Diploma. Jubal has 5 years experience in buildings engineering including high-rises, commercial, & schools with a focus on plumbing systems including solar thermal hot water, grey & black water systems, pools, and water efficient design. He was a plumbing designer on the CIRS building and a number of other LEED certified buildings in BC including the Golf Islands Operations Centre which was Canada's first LEED platinum certified building.
Bateman Centre – Denis Gautier, BA, BFA, Iredale Group
Denis has 20 years of experience in sculpture and art museum programming and direction. His background finds expression in transforming conceptual ideas into community spaces and places. Currently pursuing accreditation through the RAIC Syllabus Diploma Program in Architecture, Denis has worked on large-scale residential and hospitality projects and is currently a designer on the Bateman Art Centre at Royal Roads University in Victoria.
