Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ mission is to increase the awareness of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green roof infrastructure across North America and rapidly advance the development of the market for green roof products and services.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities presents:
Green Walls 101: Introduction to Systems and Design
Trainer: Randy Sharp
Through a series of case studies, this course aims to familiarize participants with exiting green wall technologies, their environmental benefits and issues related to their design and construction. Green Walls 101 provides information that you can put to work immediately, including details and exercises on how to:
* Determine major functions and components of green walls;
* Describe characteristics and assess various advantages of different green wall systems;
* Understand market drivers encouraging green wall implementation in North America;
* Understand how to design green walls for maximum benefits and LEED™ points.
COSTEARLY BIRD SPECIAL - Register by September 11th for $299 (GRHC members) or $349 (non-members).
Tuition for this one-day course is $349 US for GRHC Individual members and $399 US for non-members. For information on membership, or to apply online, click here.
Tuition includes course materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks. If paying by cheque, please note it must be received in our office no later than one week before the event. Registrations may be canceled by a participant up to THREE DAYS prior to the event, and will incur a $50 cancellation fee. We regret that we cannot cancel a registration after that point.
ASSOCIATION CREDITS:
Those using AIA, RCI, ASLA or APLD credits for application toward their local/regional association or for license renewal can acquire 7.5 education credits for participating. Please see the Continuing Education Credits tab for more details.
