Topic: Groundbreaking Memo of Understanding (MOU) with Portland and GE…What does it mean for green building?

Six months ago the City of Portland and representatives from GE signed a groundbreaking MOU to explore the possibilities of partnership.  Each entity has interest; Portland is a leader among cities committed to sustainability principles and GE is a leader in developing sustainable technologies and would like to market to customers who are committed to sustainability. Partnerships in finance, technology transfer, research and development, and best practices are just some of the ways that this MOU may impact our city. Come to December’s GBIG to learn more about the specifics of what this MOU entails for each party and how it might benefit your business as each entity redefines the relationship going forward.
