Join Seattle Architectural Foundation and Cascadia for a special green building tour.
March 11th, 11:30 and 1:00
Meet at 1841 16th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122
For over 100 years this building served as the home to the First Church of Christ, Scientist. The structure is now in the process of being revitalized as luxury condominiums that reflect Capitol Hill’s urban life style, while keeping the original architectural detail and craftsmanship. Each unit is entirely unique and brings a refreshing fusion of modern historic sustainability.
Developer and builder, Joe Lavin will share his insights on adaptive reuse and green preservation. Casey Scalf and Cindi Stever with Sechrist Design will guide us through the one-of-a-kind interior spaces.
This tour begins on Capitol Hill at 1841 16th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122 at 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. Advance registration is strongly encouraged; walk-ups are limited to space available. Tour is $20 in advance/$25 day of/$10 for students.
