In New York City, 85% of the buildings that will exist in 2030
are already here today (PlaNYC). The relocation of Swedish
construction company Skanska’s New York offi ce brought them
to the 32nd fl oor of a 75+ year old skyscraper. Skanska USA New
York Headquarters now calls this LEED-CI Platinum certifi ed space
home, a home that over the life of the lease, costs no more than a
typical Class A offi ce space. The space demonstrates the fantastic
potential of energy savings in existing buildings in what is America’s
most iconic skyscrapers, the Empire State Building. Please join us
as we share some challenges, strategies, and lessons learned taken
from this landmark project.
When: Friday November 12th 2010, 5:30-6:30 PM

221 Yale Ave N, Seattle WA
