This month's topic: Okanagan College Centre for Excellence - Living Building
To date, the Living Building Challenge is being tested on projects of only 600 s.m. or less. Scheduled for a March 2011 completion, the 6,600 s.m. Okanagan College Centre of Excellence, located in Penticton, BC, will become one of the largest North American projects actively seeking a Living Building Challenge certification. Richard Bolus and Robert Parlane, together with the project's sustainability consultant Brenda Martens, will share their insights and lessons being learned for this new generation of deep-green performance objectives.
