Speaker: Jason McLennan, CEO, Cascadia & International Living Building Institute
Topic: The Living City of the Future: An Exploration and Discussion
Description:
Predicting the future is a risky business. Nevertheless, many well documented global trends are pointing to a few possible scenarios - many grim. The question that we need to ask - is what should the city of the future look, feel and operate like? How can the Living Building Challenge provide guidance and inspiration in imagining and realizing the true city of the future - one that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative?
Join thought leader, author and 'civilization futurist' Jason F. McLennan in this fun exploration.
