Join the Seattle LEED Users Group in an exploration of the LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System which helps building owners and operators measure operations, improvements and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts

The session, moderated by Elizabeth Powers, addresses the intents and requirements of prerequisites and key credits within the rating system while providing real world examples of strategies to meet them.  Brett Phillips of Unico Properties will share several case studies that detail successes and challenges in achieving LEED-EB across a portfolio.

Whether you are a property manager, owner, sustainability consultant, student, or designer interested in the application of the rating system to an existing buildings seeking LEED certification for the first time or pursuing LEED EB certification on projects previously certified under LEED for New Construction, Schools, or Core & Shell, this session has something for everyone.
