The conference will feature keynote speaker Gary Christensen, the developer behind the landmark Banner Bank building, which received a LEED Platinum rating. Gary is the owner of Christensen Corporation, a commercial development firm that focuses on high performance, sustainable projects. Gary's creative thinking and his passion are evident in the Banner Bank building. Not only does it use 50 percent less energy than Boise codes require, it also has a first-of-its-kind system for collecting and re-using stormwater and greywater from both the building and from the public right-of-way surrounding the building. |
