In order to minimize the carbon footprint of the Living Building Leader program and to allow maximum access to professionals regardless of geographic location, Cascadia is offering sessions via a prerecorded video playback platform. By assembling a best-in-field group of presenters, Living Building Leader brings the learning directly to you; Anyplace. Anytime.

How it works

First, register for a session via Cascadia's online interface for any of the pre-recorded sessions available now. A comprehensive list of what is currently available and what is coming soon can be found on our schedule tab.

After purchasing a session(s), you will receive confirmation of purchase to the email address provided. A link to the session is provided in the email, along with an access code to view the session. You can view this material for up to 60 days.

For those intending to earn Living Building Leader designation, you will be directed to the quiz automatically through your web browser. Here, you will be asked to register for the quiz. You will then have one chance to obtain an 80% passing grade. As of February 1st, 2009, each quiz will be 20 questions, and you will have 30 minutes to complete the quiz.

• Underneath the class description you will see the section called "Take the Session".
• Use the hyperlink titled video playback. 
• This will bring you to our registration page. Choose "Register".
• Fill-out the registration page (be sure to choose "Cascadia Member" or Non-Member" at the top of the registration page to access the correct pricing)
  
• After the registration is completed, you will be directed to the payment page
  
• If you have a coupon code, use it here. If not, input your credit card information.
  
• If a coupon code was used, you will see that your total is now "0", or has been reduced by the value of your coupon code amount.
  
• Click "Payment"
  

This process will generate an email with a link to the session, as well as a six-digit access code. After clicking the link, please MANUALLY input the access code (copy and paste will not work) and provide the email that is associated with this account. The link will be good for viewing this material for 60 days. Please keep this email in order to access the session as many times as you'd like throughout the 60 day period.

Future Live Sessions

System requirements.  A live internet connection and a computer with speakers or headphones are needed to attend.

Please note: Prior to participating in your first Living Building Leader eLearning session, you may be prompted to install Java software onto your computer. Your computer must be Java enabled to successfully  join the session. Depending the speed of your internet connection, this install may take fifteen minutes or more.
