About the building
The space that Deschutes occupies was renovated in May 2008. The building was originally constructed in 1919 by G.G. Gerber, as an automobile parts and manufacturing facility. Most recently the building was the home for Jim Stevens Autobody Shop.  It took Deschutes about 16 months to complete the renovation of this historical shell and many of the original features still exist. Be sure to check it out.
