Bicycle Tour
Enjoy fresh air and maybe sunshine on an easy pedal around Seattle’s urban lake, taking in the history and charm of its industrial neighborhood. Hear the inside story from the architects of two different LEED Gold/Platinum condominiums, each clustered around a community courtyard. Tour the Daylighting Design and Simulation Laboratory with their day-lighting specialist. Visit the only fair trade organic chocolate factory in the USA, and then finish with a cold pint at a local brewpub. Riding time is about 1 hour to cover the 6 miles. Terrain is generally level with two small hills. Route includes both city streets and dedicated bicycle path. Bicycle, helmet, and lock provided, bring your own rain gear just in case.
