Among other green efforts, South Lake Union (SLU) has more LEED buildings open or on the way than any other neighborhood in Seattle and is under review for LEED ND certification.  This neighborhood tour via the Seattle Streetcar will include stops at the South Lake Union Discovery Center, the Terry Thomas Building (ranked by the AIA among the “Top Ten Green Projects of 2009), a local P-Patch, a city of Seattle Green Streets storm water project, and NBBJ’s Alley24.  This tour begins at the streetcar stop just outside the Westin.
