Only a 10-minute walk from the conference venue, the Vancouver Art Gallery hosts what promises to be a memorable gala evening.  Expect to be greeted by the fragrance of springtime flowers and melodies from Tom Wherrett Trio’s ambient jazz music.  Savor the flavor of a variety of hors d’oeuvres while you chew on stories of partnerships and cooperation; envisioning a thriving society where individual purpose and community well-being intersect.  Deepen existing networks and cross-pollinate to create new ones.

Enter the saucier underworld of the city in The Cellar, one of Vancouver's favorite destinations for an opulent evening of great food and drinks. Come experience an interactive burlesque performance by the renowned Cheesecake Burlesque Revue from 9pm-10: 30pm, encompassing comedy, audience participation and music. Later dance to live music by the cover band Radio One, playing old and new hits that will keep you on your feet until dawn.

Celebrate in true cross-pollination style at the multi-faceted Friday night wrap-up/launch party! While we’re winding down at Living Future, it’s just starting for everyone else. Start off with a design challenge, presented by Vancouver’s own Vancouver Design Nerds Society and Biomimicry, get into the party mood with HiVE members in the launch of their new office space, and stay up the whole night with musical performances by local talent.
