The speakers will focus on the interrelationships between the trends and the techniques of design that influence a continuous search for innovation and ultimately replication. Curiosity is paramount to success as we move towards our goals of living buildings and communities. How do we keep asking open ended questions and avoid falling into cynical and repetitive behavior.
As 3 prominent designers with a collective legacy of 5 decades and dozens of award winning work , the panel will describe principles and approaches to innovation that have worked, partly through project experience partly through personal journey and insight.
The notion of educated incapacity is that the more we learn the less able and open we are to new ideas , unless we continue to look at our work and world , through the eyes of children. That anything is possible..always.The intention of the session is to lay basic building blocks around innovation , how to replicate and how to continually ask “why not?” when faced with traditional response to new thoughts and then engage the broader audience in a dialogue of best tips techniques to take away.
