unConference: Jointly Create the Agenda

Want to jump out of the Living Future 2011 presentation circuit and into its refreshing dialogue circuit? The unconference is Living Future's participant-generated content stream! You know you should check out the unconference if:
- You want to contribute to new, progressive ideas on sustainable building topics.
- You're looking for dynamic peer-to-peer exchanges.
- You want to push beyond the topics presented in the other conference streams.
- You want to be able to freely move between different topics that interest you.
- You're looking for a fresh, different conference experience.
The unconference begins with a dynamic session to generate dialogue topics. Small groups breakout to discuss each topic and participants are encouraged to float between groups, changing up the conversation on the fly, generating the next level of exchange.
At the end of it all a collection of ideas and actions on the most progressive initiatives or difficult challenges in visualizing a restorative civilization will be presented back to all conference participants, pushing them to take these new ideas away and implement them in their locales.

Jeremy Murphy
Jeremy is Co-Founder of the HiVE Vancouver, an inspired new sustainability and arts focused collaborative downtown workspace. The HiVE is a catalyst in a community of change-makers where individuals, small organizations and companies will be able to evolve ideas into actions that address societal issues in creative, meaningful ways.
As a Director with Sustainability Solutions Group Workers Co-operative (SSG), Jeremy is an urban planner, public facilitator and green building expert working in the development, community planning, educational institution, and not-for-profit realms. SSG is a collection of professionals working across Canada and internationally on some of the world’s most progressive sustainability efforts.
