A room block has been reserved at the Sheraton Wall Centre at a special reduced rate for Living Future attendees: $169/night for single or double occupancy.The “cut-off date” for reserving rooms in the Room Block is 5:00 p.m. local time at the Hotel on April 5, 2011.

We encourage attendees that are traveling from out of town to take advantage of the convenience and very affordable rate that this option offers.

Requirements to Enter Canada

All persons entering Canada must have a valid passport and meet several other eligibility criteria.  Depending on your country of origin, you may need a visa to legally enter Canada. Please check the list of countries and territories whose citizens require visas in order to enter Canada as visitors. Are you committed to lowering your carbon footprint?  We are.  So we're making Carbon Offsets available to purchase from BEF (Bonneville Environmental Foundation) for you to offset your travel to the unconference and to help lessen LF11's carbon footprint.  If you decide to purchase your own offsets during registration, follow the instructions below, using the provided carbon calculator to calculate your offset needs.

1.  This calculator is set up to calculate the carbon footprint of your lifestyle.  If now is not the best time for calculating your entire lifestyle's carbon production and you would rather just calculate your carbon for this conference, just click on the tab appropriate to your mode of transportation (auto travel/air travel) whichever is for you.

2. AUTO - You will need to determine your round trip travel miles, once you have done so, simply put that in the "Annual Miles Driven" box and click the "Offset Now" tab and you are on your way to checkout.

3. AIR - You will need to determine your round trip travel miles, once you have done so, click the "Let's calculate a more precise footprint by using my flight mileage" button then enter your mileage into the "Enter approximate number of miles you flew in the past year:" box.  Then click the "Offset Now" tab and you are on your way to checkout.
